Notesnook v3.0.25 fixes 10+ bugs via 88 commits. Improved tabs with history, navigation & other goodies!

Previous releases:

  • v3.0.24 fixes 20+ bugs via 65 commits. Better integrated titlebar, reminders & note widgets on iOS/Android, and more!
  • v3.0.23 fixes 30+ bugs via 99 commits. Gift cards, search results sorted by date created, improved UX when auto save is disabled, and more.
  • v3.0.20 fixes 40+ bugs via 167 commits. Faster app startup, improved ToC, more accurate search, zoom in editor, and faster checkout.

New and improved tabs

We have overhauled the whole logic behind tabs in this release. Here are some of the improvements:

  1. Tab history: You can now go back and forth in the tab history using the back and forward buttons in the tab bar.
  2. No more preview tabs: We have removed the preview tabs feature. Now, when you open a note, it will open in the same tab unless you right click and open it in a new tab explicitly.
  3. Open a note in multiple tabs: You can now open a single note in multiple tabs (a precursor to side-by-side note editing). Changes in one tab will automatically sync to all other tabs.

These changes will significantly improve the tab experience in Notesnook. You'll no longer have a 100 tabs open when you're just trying to find that one note. 🎉

/nowz and /timestampz editor shortcuts

We have added two new editor shortcuts to make your life easier:

  1. /nowz: This will insert the current date and time in the editor alongwith the timezone.
  2. /timestampz: This will insert the current timestamp in the editor alongwith the timezone.
